Mitch Swanger’s Songwriting, Recording Credits, and Equipment Work Across Silent Theory’s Recorded Catalog

Swanger’s recording work continued through Tell Us How It Ends, released September 13, 2024. The 10-track album includes “Wake Up Alone,” “Afterthought,” “Made Me This Way,” and “Emptiness in You.” Reviews of the album identify Swanger as the band’s drummer. The group also issued Theoretically Speaking: The Acoustic Sessions, Vol. 1 in 2022, a six-track release with acoustic and cinematic versions of earlier songs. Theoretically Speaking II followed in 2024, while Theoretically Speaking III appeared in 2025 with seven tracks. The latter included “Before the Storm,” “Wake Up Alone,” and “Watch Me Burn.” These releases expanded the band’s recorded catalog beyond its main studio albums.
The recording work continued in 2026 with “To the End,” released May 8, followed by a version featuring Atreyu vocalist Brandon Saller on June 19. The collaboration was co-written with Saller and produced by Chris Dawson. Swanger is part of the Silent Theory lineup credited with the recording. The song’s release added another outside collaboration to his recorded work. Streaming figures also provide context for the band’s catalog. In 2024, published figures listed more than 121 million YouTube views and more than 63 million audio streams. Spotify currently lists Silent Theory at several hundred thousand monthly listeners.
