For a period, both paths coexisted. Over time, the contrast became more defined. Engineering offered predictability. Music offered expression and alignment. That difference ultimately led to a decision point.

At 24, OSSIEN was laid off from his engineering role. The situation brought uncertainty. He was in debt, had no official releases, and had not yet built an audience.
A traditional response would have been to return to a similar role in tech. Instead, he chose to fully commit to music.
There was no established roadmap or immediate momentum. The decision was based on long-term alignment rather than short-term security. That same mindset would later shape both sides of his dual-venture model.
Building the OSSIEN Project
Transitioning into electronic music required building an entirely new skill set. Production, sound design, branding, and distribution all had to be developed independently.
