The Telly Awards honor excellence in video and television across all screens. Founded in 1979 to honor excellence in local, regional, and cable television commercials, non-broadcast video and television programming were added soon after. With the recent evolution and rise of digital video (web series, VR, 360, and beyond), the Telly Awards today also reflect and celebrate this exciting new era of the moving image on and offline.

The Telly Awards annually showcase the best work created within television and across video for all screens. Receiving over 12,000 entries from all 50 states and five continents, Telly Award winners represent work from some of the most respected advertising agencies, television stations, production companies, and publishers worldwide.

Joanna’s name is now added as a winner of these coveted awards, and her name is next to others such as Sony Pictures, Hearst Media, The Walt Disney Company, Cox Media, Netflix, MTV, and many more of the best in entertainment worldwide.

When asked for a comment, Joanna was very thankful to American Dream Media, the Executive Producer Craig Sewing, Director of Production Nick Juske, Editor Toast W. Films, and their fantastic production team at American Dream Media. Joanna also recognized renowned Cinematographer Peter Staudin for his excellence behind the lens.

The Award-Winning Episode

The award-winning episode, “Captivating Big Cats,” appeared on the Travel Channel in April.  The episode featured Big Cat Habitat, an ever-growing large-animal facility in eastern Sarasota County. Founded in 1987 by Kay Rosaire. The nonprofit sanctuary is a permanent home for over 300 exotic animals.

American Dream Television host Joanna Petriccione’s episode brought national attention to this remarkable wildlife preserve. Joanna spotlighted the sanctuary as one of her favorite animal rescues in the nation. Joanna commented, “This is a magical sanctuary that abandoned exotic animals call home thanks to the owner Kay, her talented son Clayton, and their extended family.”

Big Cat Habitat is also deeply involved in animal rescue and rehabilitation efforts. The dedicated team works tirelessly to provide a lifeline for animals in need, whether victims of the exotic pet trade or sadly displaced. Petriccione, a passionate advocate for animal welfare and philanthropy, hailed the sanctuary for its unwavering commitment to providing a haven for big cats and other exotic animals. During the American Dream feature episode, she lauded the sanctuary’s comprehensive approach to animal care, which includes spacious habitats, enrichment programs, and expert veterinary care.

The episode’s cinematography captured lions, tigers, and other animals in their habitat. Spectacular drone footage showed these amazing big cats looking up directly at the drones for the video perspective of a lifetime.

Recently, Joanna returned to Big Cat Habitat as part of the national Keller Williams RedDay, an annual give-back for agents at Keller Williams on the Water, Sarasota. Joanna visited her “furry friends” and was truly thankful to the brokerage and Kay and Clayton Rosaire.

The Latest Episode

We had an opportunity to view Joanna’s latest episode, “Timeless Classics.” In it, Joanna turned her lens to some of the most iconic cars in automotive history. Joining Joanna was Michael Birk, the owner of Classic Cars of Sarasota and the curator of this incredible collection.

The episode showcased a 1957 Pale Yellow Bel Air, a symbol of automotive elegance and design from the golden age of American cars. Joanna stated: “This classic beauty, with its sleek lines, chrome accents, and soft pastel hue, represents the epitome of mid-century style. A testament to the era’s attention to detail and luxury.”

The episode quickly turned from the classics to an exotic thanks to her investor, Guy Michael of Limestone Private Equity Group. In segment two of the episode, Joanna is seen in a beautiful Lamborghini Spyder pulling up to one of her many listings in Greyhawk Landing. The doors open upwards in perfect synchronicity, and Joanna showcases another fantastic home.

Joanna’s lens perfectly captured the home’s open floor plan and multiple seating areas. The cinematography steals the show with an outdoor area with a magnificent water view. Showcasing a property she has listed in Greyhawk Landing nationally is simply genius. Joanna confirmed that the house went under contract within a week of the episode appearing on social media.

Consistent with Joanna’s episodes, where she has been seen tossing keys to her 357 Porsche to another, Guy Michael tosses the keys to the Lamborghini to Joanna in a twist of fate. Joanna opens the Lamborghini doors and gracefully enters the driver’s seat. The overhead doors close in unison, and the episode fades to black. The beauty of the episode, as seen through Joanna’s lens, is simply art.

A Rising Television Star and More

In addition to her thriving television career, Joanna Petriccione proudly accepted the appointment of the Team Lead of Sales of Sarasota Bath & Racquet Luxury Condos and Private Club in the heart of Sarasota, Florida, and just three miles from Siesta Key Beach. When not on location, Joanna will be found in the design center located at Keller Williams on the Water, Sarasota. With her trademark smile, Joanna brings success to everything she touches.

From the beginning, Joanna Petriccione was lauded in the media as a “Star is Born in Sarasota.” A rare accolade that carried her forward to appear on ABC 7 – The View. Joanna’s Telly Award for Captivating  Big Cats confirms her star is indeed rising. In the immortal words of Alicia Keys’ “This Girl Is On Fire,” viewers cannot wait for her next episode and neither can we.
