What Ryan Reynolds does seems to make him fall in love with his wife, Blake Lively… and that includes learning to dance.
In an Instagram post on Wednesday, Reynolds shared a clip of himself practicing a dance routine from Apply TV+’s upcoming musical comedy, Spirited, starring Will Ferrell.
And Lively’s reaction? Well, she just posted a question on Instagram, asking, “Can you get pregnant while pregnant??” Notably, Lively and Reynolds are expecting their fourth child.
However, Reynolds doesn’t seem too keen on dancing in the video.
“You’ve got to be willing to be bad at something if you want to be… slightly less bad at it?” the actor said in the caption of his clip. “Here’s Will and I proving that point!”
Previously, the Deadpool star shared that he sought guidance from his friend and longtime “nemesis” Hugh Jackman in singing and dancing for Spirited. Jackman is set to appear on Broadway in The Music Man.
However, the results did not satisfy Reynolds in the slightest.
“It comes so naturally to Hugh that, in a weird way, his helping was not helping,” Reynolds told Big Issue. “He was like, ‘Just make sure you’re listening to those count-offs and those beats.’ And I was like, ‘I don’t hear the beats, man. Help me with something real here!”
The most helpful lesson he learned from Jackman didn’t really happen on the dance floor. However, it took place during a sit-down over a cup of coffee.
“He reminded me of something that is so vital with almost anything that you’re doing in the arts,” Reynolds recounted. “He said, ‘Just remember to enjoy it because if you’re enjoying it, we’ll enjoy it.”
Spirited is currently screening in cinemas and on Apple TV+.

Start of Lively and Reynolds
Lively and Reynolds met on the set of Green Lantern in 2010. But they didn’t come up with it until a year later.
“We were buddies for a long time, which I think is the best way to have a relationship, to start as friends,” Reynolds said in an interview with Jess Cagle in 2016.
In October 2010, news broke of Lively’s breakup with Badgley – whom she dated from 2007 to 2010.
And, like destiny did its job, a coincidental thing happened. In December 2010, Reynolds and Scarlett Johansson revealed they divorced after two years of being together.
“After long and careful consideration on both our parts, we’ve decided to end our marriage,” they announced in a joint statement.
“We entered our relationship with love, and it’s with love and kindness we leave it. While privacy isn’t expected, it’s certainly appreciated.”
Meanwhile, the sparks between Lively and Reynolds only ignited when they went on a double date with other people.
“About a year after Green Lantern had come and gone. And we were both single; we went on a double date. She was on a date with another guy, and I was on a date with another girl. And it was like the most awkward date for the respective parties because we were just like fireworks coming across,” Reynolds stated.
That started their love affair. It ultimately led to three daughters, James, Inez, and Betty.
