Cardi B has released her new single “Hot Shit” with producer Tay Keith. The song will be available for download on Friday, July 1st.
The hip-hop starlet confirmed the release with an ad during this year’s BET Awards and then officially confirmed it on social media.
Cardi B released her first-ever song as a solo artist after 2021’s “Bet It” – the track “Hot Shit.”
Cardi also notified Summer Walker and SZA after the release of “Bet It” for an extended version of “No Love.” She then joined her co-rappers from Bronx Kay Flock and Dougie B for their collaboration “Shake It.”
Cardi B has been working with other artists in the music industry, and she’s currently collaborating on many projects. She has tapped Lizzo (“Rumors”), Normani (“Wild Side”), Migos (“Type Shit”), and Summer Walker (“Bitter”) in 2021 alone.
The singer has performed in the 2021 Grammy Awards, singing “Up” and “WAP.”
Meanwhile, Cardi B has been making the headlines for other reasons besides music – she gave birth to her second child and talked with Joe Biden before the presidential election.
She also held on to her commitment to her Bronx roots by teaming up with the New York City mayor’s office to assist in covering burial expenses for the families of the 17 individuals killed in the Bronx apartment fire on January 9th.
