Carol Burnett will appear in the final episodes of Better Call Saul, according to AMC, on Monday.

The actress/comedian has been confirmed to appear in an upcoming series episode. No other details were disclosed, but it is said that she will play a character called Marion.

Burnett, who has won six Emmys for her work on television, reveals that it was love at first sight when she watched the series Breaking Bad and its prequel Saul.

In an interview with Jimmy Kimmel years ago, Burnett said, “I’m crazy about anything [Bad and Saul overload] Vince Gilligan writes.” The actress was present on the Hollywood Walk of Fame for Bob Odenkirk in April. She has also been referred to in season 2 by Chuck (Michael McKean), Jimmy’s brother.

“I’m thrilled to be a part of my favorite show,” said Burnett regarding her guest appearance.

It seems that the second half of season 5 will have several expected guests: Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul will return their Breaking Bad characters – Walt and Jesse.

Saul’s midseason finale sees Jimmy (Odenkirk) and Kim’s (Rhea Seehorn) scheme going sideways, with Lalo (Tony Dalton) murdering Howard (Patrick Fabian), menacingly connecting the lives of the lawyers and the cartel.

“A lot of this story is the story of unintended consequences,” said co-creator Peter Gould in a recent interview with EW. “The consequences are just beginning, let’s put it that way.”

The first of the final six episodes drops on July 11th.
