Eminem’s Intellectual Property Rights at Center of Dispute Over The Real Housewives of Potomac’s “Reasonably Shady” Brand Name

The renowned rapper Eminem is suing two members of The Real Housewives of Potomac to prevent them from trademarking the name “Reasonably Shady” for their entertainment company.

The term “Reasonably Shady” is allegedly infringing on the trademarks of Marshall Mathers, who owns the terms “Shady” and “Slim Shady.”. Quest for Fire is the name of the renowned American music producer Skrillex’s second solo studio album. On February 16, the album, which features Missy Elliott and the French producer Mr. Oizo among other well-known guests, was released.

A rotating stage was intended to be used for the song “As It Was” performance, but due to a technical issue, the stage rotated the other way.

Despite this unexpected twist, the dancers were able to adapt to the situation and perform the routine in reverse order, impressing the audience with their quick thinking and impressive skill. 

Choreographer Dexter Da Rocha talked about the 10-day rehearsal period on TikTok. Meanwhile the routine was practiced to perfection.  

Despite their diligent practice and planning, the dancers encountered a new challenge the night of the performance, but they were able to rise to the occasion and deliver a graceful and composed performance.

Dancer Brandon Mathis expressed surprise at the unexpected turn of events on his Instagram story, writing, “There was nothing we could have done about it.” Praised for the twists and talent of the dancers… keep the energy and skill running. 

“To switch all those patterns around on the spot, having not even walked in that direction, it sounds easy,” Da Rocha stated in the TikTok. 

“Since it’s circular, it pulls you in different directions and is such a special type of balance. We got accustomed to one way, and it was the opposite way. Luckily we worked together and did our best and got to one cool formation in time for the overhead shot, but had to change the rest.”
