Meet Bobby Goldsmith, “The EnterTrainer!”
Affectionately known as “The EnterTrainer,” Bobby Goldsmith is perhaps the only guy who can make you laugh while explaining the differences between a 401(K) and a Roth IRA.
With more than three decades of experience as an accomplished financial professional, Bobby has added a microphone and a stage to the old suit-and-tie, cracking jokes that might actually teach you something. Bobby embarked on his life’s journey in the financial sector, helping clients and educating agents on those thrilling topics we all adore: insurance, investments, taxes, and trusts. (Yes, all that riveting stuff that will have you running for the coffee machine!)

It didn’t take long for Bobby to discover that humor was his “secret sauce” to keeping his audiences engaged and, more importantly, awake. So, he decided to blend his financial smarts with a dose of stand-up, and “BOOM!” (the title of one of his books) – “The EnterTrainer” was born. Seriously, we’re talking PowerPoint to Punchlines as he takes his act on the road.
Flashback 10 years, and after a day on stage teaching finance, he recalls looking in the mirror and thinking to himself, “You can do standup,” and knowing that he wasn’t going to get any younger, if he truly wanted to try, he needed to go for it… NOW. Ten years later, and hundreds of open mics performing to empty chairs or just other comics, Bobby has developed into one of the funniest and engaging standup comedians, performing his cleaner brand of comedy.
Bobby’s infectious energy connects with diverse audiences, making him a sought-after entertainer. One of his differentiators is that he delivers side splitting laughter without the need for vulgarity, all too commonplace in the comedy world today. Whether he’s performing at an intimate venue or on the stages of iconic comedy clubs, Bobby instantly engages the crowd, delivering laughs from the first few seconds to leaving a lasting impression.
He has also been seen on the small screen, including shows airing on HGTV, ABC, and FOX, such as “Success Today,” and “Let’s Do Some Kountry Kickin!” But he hasn’t stopped there! Bobby currently hosts his own talk radio show, “From Diapers to It Depends™” (the title of his next book), with his wife Deanna, airing on the TANTALK RADIO network (1340 AM -Tampa, FL), bringing a unique flavor of topics including Marriage, Millennials, Dating, and of course, “Money!”

Goldsmith’s comedy credentials are no joke, but rather impressive as he was the winner at the 2023 Boca Raton Fall Comedy Festival. His solo performances have racked up rave reviews at both private gigs and corporate events as well as the Hilton Grand Vacation Club in Orlando, Florida. Bobby has been seen at some of the nation’s renowned comedy venues, including the Iconic IMPROV, The Helium Clubs of New York and St. Louis, The Funny Bone (Richmond, Virginia Beach, VA., and Des Moines, IA), as well as Hyena’s Comedy Clubs in Dallas and Fort Worth, sharing stages with some of America’s top entertainers.
In the business world, he has performed for organizations such as The General Federation of Women in Oklahoma and major businesses such as Kubota, at the world-famous Billy Bob’s in Fort Worth, TX, Trellance, Tampa, FL, and Trinity Industries, in Dallas, and many more.
With all that experience in front of audiences and his 30-plus years as an entrepreneur, Bobby has doubled down on that stage time as an Educational/Motivational Speaker, delivering impactful workshops, educational events, and inspirational speeches that, as you may have guessed, are far from boring. “Robert,” as he refers to himself in the business world (since he feels “Bobby” doesn’t quite command as much respect when discussing your money), puts on his serious face.
