Justin Timberlake is now more prepared than ever for whatever comes next.

The singer’s dance moves circulated on the internet and quickly became viral following his playing of “Sexy Back” at a show in Washington, D.C., over this past weekend – reactions were quite adverse.

Timberlake is currently amid a mockery that has drawn much attention from media outlets. On Wednesday, he posted an apology video on social media to remedy his actions and end all ridicule by fans.

“D.C., I want to apologize to you for two reasons,” Timberlake uploaded a video on his Instagram Story on Wednesday. Later in the clip, he diverts the camera downward to focus on his multi-hued sneakers. “Here and here!”

He continued jokingly, “I had a long talk with both of them individually and said, ‘Um, don’t you ever do that to me again.”

It’s not just about the shoes; Timberlake also blamed his pants at one point – he mentioned a “khaki vibe.”

To make light of the situation, Timberlake then re-uploaded TikToks mocking his moves on his Instagram Story – including a young girl copying the dance with a caption: “she did it better than JT.”

“I don’t disagree,” Timberlake remarked with a laughing emoticon.
