The Academy Awards is one of the most prestigious awards in Hollywood. This year, it will be hosted by three talented women: Regina Hall, Amy Schumer, and Wanda Sykes on March 27.

Three women will be hosting this year’s Academy Awards. The first time that many women have served in such an important position for one evening.

It was first reported last week that there would be many event hosts, with Will Packer as producer and Glenn Weiss as director. Another confirmation says that the hosts will take turns in separate hours in emceeing the show, and Schumer will conclude the event.

The three hosts’ official announcement will be formally delivered on “Good Morning America” on Tuesday. Both Schumer and Sykes have connections with Oscar’s broadcasting partner ABC. Schumer is in “Life & Beth,” soon broadcasting on Hulu, which has the same parent company as ABC, Disney. Sykes has been linked to “Black-ish,” aired on ABC.
