Eltara Casata by Radmila Lolly on Creating Iconic Fashion Pieces

Radmila Lolly stands at the helm of a brand grounded on bringing art to life through fashion. Radmila Lolly is a trendy fashionista, fashion designer and musical artist with an unmatched eye for details and aesthetics. Growing up, young Radmila learned to sketch outfits by observing her mother, an artist, create paintings. To bring her sketch designs to life, she also learned to sew from her mother, a skill passed down from her grandmother, who was a seamstress by trade.

As her musical career grew, the outfits she designed for her performances received much attention; her unique outfits went viral for their unconventional designs and breathtaking attention to detail. Soon, Radmila was commissioned for unique designs, which led her to launch her own fashion house, “Eltara Casata by Radmila Lolly.” Her first high couture collection was displayed at Gotham Hall in New York City.

In her design room, the bonafide fashionista brings the high-end fashion scenes to her customers, transforming their looks and taking them to the next level. Her designs have been worn by celebrities such as Gayle King, Bebe Rexha, Mya, Natti Natasha, Nicole Ari Parker, Carla Morrison and many others for both performances and the red carpet. Nominees have also worn them for the Daytime Emmys, Oscars, and Grammys. In addition, they have been featured at Barneys New York Trunk Show alongside designers such as Zac Posen, Naeem Khan and J. Mendel and in numerous magazine editorials, including Vogue, L’Officiel, Elle and Harper’s Bazaar.

In addition to creating iconic designs, Radmila is an ardent sports fan. After relocating to Miami three years ago, she discovered her love for basketball, becoming a massive fan of the Miami Heat despite her busy schedule. She was a fixture at local games after coronavirus restrictions were eased, went to every game even when only a limited fan base was allowed into the arena, and actually sang the national anthem at FTX back in January.

Merging her love for fashion and basketball, the trendy fashionista would attend the Heat games in her show-stopping designs and be dubbed “Miami Heat’s most fashionable fan.” One of her most iconic looks was a self-designed Miami Heat gown that caught attention as she sat courtside for the Miami Heat Game 1 victory against the Philadelphia 76ers in the Eastern Conference semifinals.

The gown was so iconic and dramatic that it generated an instant buzz on social media, with several Heat fans wondering who the “courtside Heat lady” was and how the gown came about. In an interview, the designer shared the inspiration behind the design. “I take fashion very seriously, and I think that it adds to the ambiance to have fans dress in their style,” she said. “Being a part of Heat Nation helps relax me and balance my life; it represents a fun escape. I made the gown two years ago, before the pandemic. I bought 14 XXL jerseys with various players’ names, and Voila! The gown came alive.”

As someone passionate about fashion, Radmila Lolly has big plans for the coming years. She aims to continue developing her brand and is set to release a new, highly anticipated high fashion collection under her fashion house, Eltara Casata by Radmila Lolly.
