Elton walked four runway shows during Seoul Fashion Week, including the MMAM runway show on March 15, the Seokwoon Yon runway show on March 16, the Greedilous show on March 17, and the Maison Nica show on March 19.

Greedilous, a Korean brand known for its futuristic and geometric designs, has been making waves in the fashion industry for years. Designer Park Yoon-hee’s enterprising personality and diverse experience in fashion and industrial design have earned her the title of ‘Queen of Prints.’ The brand’s progressive Greediers collection represents her global vision and inspiration and is known for its visual silhouette and revolutionary approach to design. Everyone from Paris Hilton to Beyonce have worn her fashion designs.

Ilirjani’s statement that “genderless modeling represents everyone, it’s synonymous with the arts and creativity, and is more easily absorbed by the general public” is a testament to the brand’s commitment to inclusivity and representation. Fashion has long been criticized for its lack of diversity and narrow beauty standards, but brands like Greedilous and models like Ilirjani are leading the charge toward a more inclusive and accepting industry.

Ilirjani’s appearance at Seoul Fashion Week is not their first foray into the fashion world. As a fashion influencer and CEO, Ilirjani has been known for their eccentric and eclectic style and has walked for some of the most cutting-edge fashion designers at New York Fashion Week. Their social media presence has also garnered attention, with their interviews and runway shows being featured in prestigious publications like Forbes, V Magazine, and Women’s Wear Daily.

Beyond their fashion career, Ilirjani is also a passionate LGBTQIA+ activist and founder of the Dignity Global Foundation, a non-profit organization focused on the protection of human and civil rights for women and the LGBTQIA+ community in the workplace.

Originally from Albania, Elton is dedicated to speaking up for equality, human rights and fairness for other LGBTQ+ individuals throughout America and the world. They created the “Employment Equality Index” for the LGBTQIIA+ community, which ranks private companies and public institutions by their adherence to human and civil rights in the workplace in the western Balkans countries.

They have also built a successful career over the past decades as the founder and director of The HeadHunter Group, which has offices in 15 countries globally.

They made history as the first publicly gay man in Albania who made headlines when they came out of the closet to the media in 2006. As an activist, they spearheaded two transgender acceptance campaigns, the “Lipstick Movement” and the “Nobody is Straight” movement for LGBTQIIA+ inclusivity.

Their work as an activist and role models for the genderless community has made an impact in the fashion industry and beyond.

As a genderless model, Elton has walked for internationally-acclaimed fashion brands like a scene-stealing protest at Art Basel Miami Beach and BESFXXK, a Seoul fashion brand, and most recently, for Seoul Fashion Week 2023.

LGBT Model and Activist Elton Ilirjani On The Unlikely Inspo For His Trailblazing, Genderless Style

Elton Ilirjani is not just a model, influencer, and fashionista – he is also an activist dedicated to promoting equality and human rights. Born in Albania, Elton immigrated to the United States at the age of 38 and has since made a name for himself in the fashion industry, walking for prestigious designers and appearing in numerous publications.

“I am inspired by South Korean fashion designers, who create cutting-edge fashion, and I wear their designs often,” said Ilirjani. The versatile model cites the South Korean fashion scene as a driving force behind his creative endeavors. The chemistry and thought behind their designs are at times loud, other times subdued and sleek, but always with a story to tell.

The multitalented model’s accomplishments go beyond the world of fashion. As the founder of the Dignity Global Foundation, Elton is dedicated to promoting human and civil rights for women and the LGBTQIA+ community, particularly in the workplace. He believes that fashion can be a powerful tool for moving forward with human rights, particularly in the LGBTQIA+ community, women, and non-binary people. Elton’s style is as unconventional as his activism. He has made a name for himself as a genderless model, blurring the lines between traditionally male and female clothing. Aside from the South Korean fashion scene, Elton also draws inspiration for his eclectic design choices from the French novelist Honoré de Balzac. “He was always making fun of society in his writing, and a lot of people didn’t like him because he had a sarcastic approach to roasting the highest levels of society,” said Ilirjani.

Elton Ilirjani is renowned for his impeccable fashion sense and eccentric personality that makes him stand out in a crowd. Elton is a frequent face in the New York City fashion scene and has graced the runway for some of the most avant-garde fashion designers at New York Fashion Week. Fashion, genderless model and LGBTQIIA+ activist, Elton Ilirjani is set to blaze the New York Fashion Week Runway this February 2023

Fashion has served as a medium for art, expression, and the promotion of issues in the public eye over the years. Runaways in the fashion industry have historically been employed to transmit messages created by designers or artists. From this point on, the messaging evolved and got more intimate. One of the most powerful art forms for speaking and promoting beliefs, fashion has been used to express everything from political statements to sexual orientation and liberation.

This may be the reason why a career in the fashion industry is so difficult. With shifting messages, the industry has become unreliable. The battle against animal and human cruelty is still being uncovered at its heart despite current technological advancements that seem to replace human labor.

There has never been a better time to advocate for human rights by using fashion as a model. When they walk the runway, models like Elton Ilirjani work as activists for the gender-nonconforming community.

Elton Ilirjani is a social media sensation who also works as a corporate CEO, a fashion influencer, and an LGBTQIIA+ activist out of Brooklyn, New York. Elton, who is of Albanian descent, is committed to advocating for equality, basic human rights, and justice for other LGBTQ+ people in America and around the globe. As the creator of the Dignity Global Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to defending the civil and human rights of women and members of the LGBTQIIA+ community at work.

They started the “Lipstick Movement” and the “Nobody is Straight” movement for LGBTQIIA+ inclusion as an activist, two transgender acceptance campaigns.

They have walked the runway as a genderless model for well-known fashion houses like BESFXXK and the House of Mua Mua (Milan) (Seoul). Among other publications, they have been highlighted in Forbes, V Magazine, LA Weekly, and Miami Living Magazine.

Elton claims that “the modeling industry will shortly undergo significant transformation. The fashion runway isn’t any more sexist, outdated, or objectifying of women. Genderless modeling is more widely accepted by the public, represents all people, and is associated with the arts and creativity. “I also think that genderless models challenge conventional notions of “beautiful” and contribute to the fashion industry’s efforts to be more welcoming to women and LGBTQIIA+ populations. The first step toward freedom in the fashion business, which I find to be so tightly controlled, subjective, and occasionally really harsh, is the use of genderless models.

Elton aims to offer a gay presence to the runway that defies expectations and embodies free-spirited design. Prior to Elton, the LGBTQIIA+ community was only represented as a means of inclusion on the catwalk, but now it is starting to become the norm.

Elton Ilirjani (they/them) will participate in two catwalk shows during the upcoming New York Fashion Week by walking in them. They would walk the House of Mua Mua on February 12 and the BESFXXK two days later (as part of the Concept Korea runway show)
