The franchise begins with a forthcoming book written by bestselling author Blake Karrington, developed and co-authored by Mendoza, and supported by a built-in social audience of more than 2.5 million followers. The property will continue with The Brown Family Diaries: Origin, a 60-episode scripted vertical series, followed by an original soundtrack from Universal Music Group (Chamber Studios) featuring music from Sleepy Brown of the legendary production collective Organized Noize, whose work has helped define generations of music through collaborations with Outkast, TLC, Ludacris, En Vogue, Big Boi, and many others.
