Entrepreneur Richie Hosein has moved between healthcare boardrooms, Hamptons nightlife, artificial intelligence, media, and hospitality by understanding one universal business principle: experience matters.
Richie Hosein understands that people rarely remember a spreadsheet. They remember an experience.
That philosophy has helped the executive and serial entrepreneur build an unconventional career stretching from global healthcare and medical technology to hospitality, nightlife, artificial intelligence, media, and entertainment.
His foundation, however, was built in healthcare.
After launching a sports marketing company while still in college, Hosein joined Pfizer.
At Pfizer, he later took on leadership responsibilities as a trainer and assistant district manager.
He later joined Empire Surgical, a New York-based Johnson & Johnson sports medicine distributor.
As the organization expanded, Hosein became a commercial executive and ultimately joined the managing partner group. He participated in the company’s growth over a period of less than four years.
The company later exited back to Johnson & Johnson.
But Hosein’s ambitions were never limited to healthcare.
Building Experiences
Hospitality gave Hosein another canvas for his business instincts.
As co-founder of Etiquette Management Group, investor in 1OAK Southampton, and founder of AM Southampton, Hosein became active in the Hamptons hospitality and nightlife scene.
AM Southampton became a prominent nightlife venue in the Hamptons during its operating period.
Then came another challenge.
In 2019, Hosein was brought in to help reposition Playboy Club NYC.
For Hosein, hospitality was not entirely different from healthcare or sales.
Every industry begins with understanding people.
What do they need?
What are they missing?
Why would they choose one experience over another?
And what will make them return?
That ability to translate human behavior into business strategy has allowed Hosein to move between industries that traditionally have little overlap.
Media Becomes the Next Platform
Hosein is now applying that cross-industry perspective to media.
Through 1nfluenc3 Media, he is developing a full-stack creative marketing and media agency integrating public relations, social media, talent, events, content, media, and digital growth.
Rather than viewing these functions as separate services, the concept brings them together as components of a larger brand ecosystem.
For today’s entrepreneurs and public-facing brands, those functions can increasingly overlap.
A company is no longer defined solely by its product.
Its identity can be shaped by social media, live events, collaborations, earned media, storytelling, talent partnerships, digital communities, and real-world experiences.
Hosein’s background across hospitality, healthcare, entrepreneurship, and technology gives him experience across those areas.
Technology Meets Culture
Artificial intelligence is another major component of his next chapter.
From March 2024 through August 2025, Hosein served as Chief Growth Officer of Thinkhat Venture Studio, where he oversaw commercialization, partnerships, growth strategy, and capital formation for AI companies.
He helped lead fundraising efforts and ideated and co-founded FORMD.ai, an AI-powered medical simulation and education platform.
Today, he is building his own venture studio across healthcare, hospitality, marketing, and business architecture.
Its portfolio includes 1nfluenc3 Media and FreeHealth.ai, an AI-powered digital health companion designed to integrate multiple pieces of the patient journey into a single platform.
Hosein is simultaneously expanding his leadership community through the Global Healthcare Leaders Foundation, an invite-only nonprofit organization launched at the Harvard Club of Boston.
With more than 100 healthcare executives, clinicians, innovators, investors and policymakers, the Foundation connects leaders who might otherwise remain separated by institutions, industries or disciplines.
That ability to bring different worlds together may ultimately be the clearest description of Hosein’s career.
He can move from conversations about healthcare commercialization and artificial intelligence to media, hospitality, live events and culture without viewing them as disconnected ventures.
To Hosein, they are all businesses built around people.
And whether the setting is a hospital, startup, boardroom, nightclub, media platform, or global leadership community, his formula remains remarkably consistent:
Build relationships. Create value. Deliver an experience. Execute at scale.
For Richie Hosein, the next act isn’t about choosing between business and culture.
It’s about building at the intersection of both.
