Author on the Rise: Kris Jaeckle Announces Release of Global Adventures: A Divine Journey, the First of Many

Kris Jaeckle is releasing her book entitled Global Adventures: A Divine Journey. The book narrates how the author surrendered her life to the goal of changing the world while on a humanitarian journey in Papua New Guinea but never expected it to happen the way it did. Following a tragic breakup from a romantic relationship, Kris embraced many experiences that brought her to different parts of the world. She met influential and inspiring personalities while on different assignments, such as Nelson Mandela, Viktor Frankl, and Nando Parrado. Her book is also highly-regarded because she shares her experience as one of the few people who have met Mother Teresa in person. Kris was able to meet such highly-regarded persons at a young age while working for private entities that her perspective changed and allowed her to see the world in a different light.

Kris was born into adventure. She made her way into the world while her father was on his way to his next duty station. She grew up as a military kid, which took her to many different places. As her life was always on the move, Kris realized many across the country needed help, which sparked her desire to inspire people and make a difference in their lives. Influenced by her mother’s genuine desire to help others and her father’s servant heart and strong leadership, Kris became a person driven to empower those around her.

The author shared that her first book is for anyone who has experienced a major emotional setback. “Through my story, I wanted to motivate those going through similar experiences to get out and use adventure or try something new as part of the healing process,” Kris shared. “In addition, I wanted people to see how life continues and comes out better even during times when we can’t see the light at the other end of the tunnel,” she added further.

Asked what motivated her to write her book, Kris answered it was those who heard her stories that encouraged her the most. The author shared she was constantly asked by her friends, family, and peers about her adventures, events that happened during her travels, and what she learned from the people she met throughout all of them. They motivated her to highlight and amplify her incredible interactions with others and even the random run-ins that left a lasting impact on her life. “It was the overwhelming desire of others to hear these stories and their reaction to my stories that led me to write a book,” Kris said.

A true child of adventure, Kris envisions exploring many other places in the next five years. She also sees herself continuing to publish more work and live the kind of life she’s living today, where she gains many types of interactions with people from all walks of life.

“I live a life that others find entertaining and that I truly enjoy living. I hope my story can also motivate and encourage others to go out into the world with an open mind and a heart ready for the adventures that await them,” Kris said.
