The creator economy has produced a new class of entrepreneurs, but many creators are still treated like talent instead of business owners.
RG Creators was built to change that.
Founded by Rohan Gurram, RG Creators is a creator management and business development company focused on helping creators turn attention into long-term businesses.
“Creators are already launching brands, building media companies, developing intellectual property, and creating products,” Gurram said. “Their management should reflect that.”
Most creator management still revolves around sponsorships. Managers source deals, negotiate contracts, and collect a commission. RG Creators will still handle brand partnerships, but the relationship is meant to go further.
The company plans to support creators with business strategy, production, legal and financial coordination, product launches, partnerships, and long-term planning.
At the center of the model is what Gurram calls the Shared Amenity Model.
The idea is simple. Creators often need many of the same resources, including legal support, accounting, production, strategy, brand development, and operations. Today, most of them assemble those resources separately.
RG Creators plans to build that infrastructure once and share it across a selective roster.
“A creator should not have to rebuild their team every time they want to enter a new category,” Gurram said. “They should have access to people who already understand their business and where they are trying to go.”
The model is designed to do more than reduce cost. It also creates institutional memory.
A strong contract improves the next negotiation. A successful launch creates a playbook for future launches. A reliable production partner becomes more valuable with each project.
“We want the organization to get smarter every time one of our creators builds something,” Gurram said.
RG Creators plans to keep its roster selective. The company is looking for creators with strong content, real commercial potential, and the ambition to build beyond sponsorship income.
Audience size matters, but it is not the only factor.
The company also plans to create more collaboration across its network. That could mean connecting creators with operators, brands, investors, production partners, or other talent who can help move an idea forward.
For Gurram, the larger opportunity is clear.
“The next major consumer brands and media companies will be built by people who started by making content,” he said. “We want to help them make that transition.”
RG Creators is the first operating company under RG, a broader ecosystem built around helping ambitious people pursue their potential.
