Founded by Tasha White, MODEx Studio emerged from its roots as an immersive fitness gym to become Atlanta’s top-tier hub for production and live events. Nestled in the vibrant Shops of Buckhead neighborhood, this black and female-owned venture exemplifies innovation, offering a unique blend of technology and creative space for artists, filmmakers, corporate teams, and entrepreneurs alike.

Tasha’s vision took root in Chicago in 2017 with an immersive indoor cycling studio. Yet, 2021 marked a new era; relocating to Atlanta and transforming this physical space to accommodate the demands of a world under the shadow of the COVID-19 pandemic. Tasha’s determination saw the birth of MODEx Studio in its present avatar, illustrating the magic born when creativity grapples with adversity.

Tasha White reflects, “The metamorphosis from a gym to an innovation hub underscores the hidden opportunities within challenges. Our story is about resilience and what unfolds when creativity and adaptability converge.”

A standout feature of MODEx Studio is its 60’x13’ curved video wall, one of the globe’s most advanced, merging 4K laser projectors and video projection mapping to form an immersive spectacle. Yet, the wonders don’t end here. The studio is outfitted with cutting-edge technology: HTC sensors, Unreal Engine, 4K PTZ cameras, and premium broadcast streaming capabilities. These technologies come together to craft experiences that resonate with audiences and creators alike.

With a vision to expand beyond Atlanta, Tasha White asserts, “Our dedication to design and technology has positioned us uniquely in the entertainment realm. We’re excited to unveil the potential of MODEx Studio to creators worldwide.”

But MODEx is more than its impressive technological prowess. The studio encompasses a unique production office, a 30’x10’ viewing experience, doubling as a collaborative workspace and an event venue. This versatility underpins MODEx’s ethos, positioning it as the ultimate space for events ranging from grand film screenings to innovation masterclasses and dynamic corporate events.

Signature events further elevate the studio’s reputation. A quarterly film festival shines a spotlight on indie filmmakers, while TEDxBuckheadAve fuels thought-provoking conversations, underscoring MODEx’s commitment to the broader creative community.

As MODEx Studio unveils its doors for coworking, broadcast productions, and event rentals, it champions the limitless possibilities of creativity. Located in Atlanta’s iconic Buckhead, it seamlessly accommodates both formal and informal events, standing as a testament to the synergy of technology and inspiration.
